Is iced coffee only for summer? I don’t think so. And I am sure a lot of people will agree with me. I can drink iced coffee all year round. Have you tried Dalgona Coffee? This Dalgona Coffee with Baileys Liqueur is a cold latte drink that is topped with velvety and smooth coffee foam.

What is Dalgona Coffee?

What is this drink? Dalgona coffee or Whipped coffee is made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee, sugar, and water until becomes creamy and thick. After that, you can spoon or pour the whipped coffee over the ice-filled glass with milk and Baileys. You can skip Baileys of course. If you don’t want caffeine use decaffeinated instant coffee. You can also top it with coffee powder, cocoa powder, or honey.

How to make Dalgona Coffee

  • Combine milk and Baileys liqueur in an ice-filled glass.
  • Add instant coffee, sugar and hot water to a mixing bowl.
  • Whip for 1-2 minutes, until mixture is creamy and thick.
  • Pour the whipped coffee over the Baileys with milk and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons hot water
  • ½ cup milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • In an ice-filled glass combine milk and Baileys.
  • Add instant coffee, sugar and hot water to a mixing bowl.
  • Whip 1-2 minutes until mixture is creamy and thick.
  • Pour the whipped coffee over the Baileys and milk.
  • Enjoy!
