Orange Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Orange Chocolate Chip Cookies are full of orange and chocolate flavor. They are soft and quick to make. I really like combination of orange and chocolate. These are clasic cookies with my modern twist.

How to make Orange Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preheat oven to 350F. Line 2 baking sheet pan with parchment paper or baking mat.
In the mixing bowl sift flour, paking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In the mixing bowl of stand mixer with pedal attachment, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This takes abour 2-3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla paste. Mix again untill all combined. Add dry ingredients and mix again. Add zest of one orange and chocolate chips. Mix again with the spatula.
Using icecream scoop or regular spoon, scoop balls of dough on prepared baking pan. Use hands to form perfect balls. Add more chocolate chips on top. This is optional. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes or untill the edges are slightly golden brown. Remove cookies from oven and let them cool for 5 minutes, before moving to wire cooling rack to cool completely.
How to store
Store Orange Chocolate Chip Cookies in the airtight container for 5 days at room temperature. You can also freeze cookies in Ziploc bag for 2-3 months. Defrost cookies through the fridge overnight.
Tips for making this recipe
- mix milk and dark chocolate chips to make these cookies
- you can mix orange zest with a few spoons of sugar before adding to the dough. This will give more flavor.
- use microplane zester to take zest of orange
- serve cookies with milk while they are still warm

- ½ cup white granulated sugar 115gr
- 1 eggs room temperature
- 2 cup all-purpose flour 240gr
- 1 tsp baking powder 5gr
