Ingredients

vegetable oil

vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste

all-purpose flour

diced fresh apples ( about 4 medium apples)
Instructions
How to Make Apple Cake
Start by preheating your oven to 350
o
F (175
o
C).
Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
Peel and cut apples into cubes. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs and sugar, then beat until fluffy.
Add vegetable oil and vanilla bean paste. Beat again until fully combined.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the egg mixture. Mix just until combined- be careful not to overmix the batter.
Fold in the diced apples, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake the apple cake in the preheated oven to 350
o
F (175
o
C) for about 50 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool to room temperature. Dust with the powdered sugar before serving.
