Macaron Christmas Tree

Macaron Christmas Tree is layers of macaron shells and white chocolate ganache. This is not just macaron, this is like a small cake.

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer or electric hand mixer
  • 1 emulsify blender
  • 1 pipping bag
  • 1 pipping tip

Ingredients

  • 300 gr white chocolate
  • 100 ml heavy cream

Instructions

White Chocolate ganache

  • Melt white chocolate in the microwave using 30 seconds intervals.
  • In the small saucepan bring to simmer, but do not boil heavy cream.
  • Pour hot cream over chocolate in 3 parts, mixing with the spatula, fast and pressing down.
  • Emulsify with hand blender. Transfer ganache into flat container and cover with plastic wrap "to contact".
  • Let ganache set in the fridge for 6-8 hours. 

How to assemble Macaron Christmas Tree

  • Stack the macaron shells into Christmas Tree towers. Transfer ganache into pipping bag with Wilton 1M pipping tip. Pipe ganache on the the tray or plate, this way the tree will not be moved and destroyed.
  • Pipe ganache between each macarons shell and press lightly.
  • When you assemble all macaron shells, you need to decorate tree with sprinkles, gold or chocolate chips.
  • Place Macaron Christmas Tree into airtight container to mature in the fridge for 12-24 hours. Use deep container or your macaron will not fit. You need to be able to close cover. 
  • Serve as individual dessert. Enjoy!
