This is the best recipe of Chocolate Chip Cookies that requires no chilling time before baking.

1 kitchen scale

Ingredients

unsalted butter room temperature

granulated white sugar

brown sugar

egg room temperature

all-purpose flour

baking powder

baking soda

chocolate chip or chopped dark chocolate

sea salt flakes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375
o
F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper and set aside.
In the mixing bowl add flour, baking soda, baking powder. Use whisk to combine. Set aside.
In separate mixing bowl add unsalted butter room temperature, granulated white sugar and brown sugar.
Using pedal attachment beat until pale and smooth. About 2-3 minutes.
Add egg and beat until combine.
Sift in dry ingredients and mix until combine.
Add chocolate chips or chopped chocolate and mix well.
Roll 2-3 tablespoon (depending on how large you like cookies) of dough at a time into balls and place them on prepared cookie sheets.
Add more chocolate chips on top of cookies (optional).
Bake cookies in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
Once baked and cookies are still warm, top with chopped chocolate.
Sprinkle flakes of sea salt on top of the cookies.
Let cookies to sit on the baking pan for a few minutes. Then remove cookies to cooling rack.

All ingredients should be room temperature.
