Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is the best recipe of Chocolate Chip Cookies that requires no chilling time before baking.

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer or electric hand mixer
  • 1 kitchen scale
  • 2 baking pan

Ingredients

  • 113 gr unsalted butter room temperature
  • 100 gr granulated white sugar
  • 100 gr brown sugar
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 180 gr all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 100 gr chocolate chip or chopped dark chocolate
  • 3 Tablespoon sea salt flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375oF. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper and set aside. 
  • In the mixing bowl add flour, baking soda, baking powder. Use whisk to combine. Set aside. 
  • In separate mixing bowl add unsalted butter room temperature, granulated white sugar and brown sugar. 
  • Using pedal attachment beat until pale and smooth. About 2-3 minutes.
  • Add egg and beat until combine.
  • Sift in dry ingredients and mix until combine. 
  • Add chocolate chips or chopped chocolate and mix well. 
  • Roll 2-3 tablespoon (depending on how large you like cookies) of dough at a time into balls and place them on prepared cookie sheets. 
  • Add more chocolate chips on top of cookies (optional).
  • Bake cookies in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. 
  • Once baked and cookies are still warm, top with chopped chocolate. 
  • Sprinkle flakes of sea salt on top of the cookies.
  • Let cookies to sit on the baking pan for a few minutes. Then remove cookies to cooling rack. 

Notes

All ingredients should be room temperature.
