Wash strawberries and fully wipe them.
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or waxed paper.
Put chocolate into heatproof bowl. Do not use plastic bowl!
Fill medium saucepan with a couple inches of water and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Turn the heat to low and place bowl with chocolate over the water to melt. Mix the chocolate as it softens, until completely melted.
Holding strawberry by the stem, dip into the chocolate, letting any excess chocolate fall back into the bowl.
Place strawberries on the parchment paper. Repeat with the rest of strawberries.
Decorate strawberries with different colors of chocolate or sprinkle with nuts.
